Lovin Book Guesthouse in the enchanting medieval town of Óbidos is a hidden gem. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Andre who welcomed us with a complimentary bottle of wine, setting the tone for a romantic getaway. The room's unique design and thoughtful amenities like the flat-screen TV and stylish washbasins made us feel right at home. We enjoyed sipping on Ginjinha de Óbidos on the balcony, taking in the historic charm of the surroundings.The location was perfect, just a short stroll from the main gate and surrounded by a plethora of traditional eateries serving authentic Portuguese cuisine. The cozy atmosphere and various books scattered throughout the property added a touch of culture to our stay. Despite a minor hiccup with one staff member, the overall experience was delightful, and the helpful recommendations from Andre made our visit truly memorable.Exploring the vibrant streets lined with charming booths and enjoying a fabulous meal at Petrarum Domus restaurant added to the magical ambiance of this walled city. The convenience of free public parking nearby and easy access to Wi-Fi throughout the guesthouse made our stay even more enjoyable. Lovin Book Guesthouse truly exceeded our expectations, offering a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and historical allure.
